Horrible experience and waste of money. It is a scam will only work temporarily for 1 or 2 days then stop. Customer service is an automated message. You will likely see an 'I m sorry kindly send an email' comment from them on this review as well. It is all fake, no help is offered at all. Do not buy.

DO NOT USE! eSIM worked for 2 days only in a city with full coverage and 4g connectivity confirmed by the service provider. Wasted my money instead of buying an actual sim card when I arrived in Vietnam

Bought an esim in Costa Rica, and installed it through the app (connected to the CLARO network), says I have 4G yet I can't connect to the internet, been in conversation with customer support for 5 days now because they are slow at replying, and all the options they provided I tried and they do not work. Avoid!

Just returned from the Caribbean and used the islands Sim package - worked flawlessly on 10 different islands.
I have now used these Esims in 4 countries in Europe, USA and now the Caribbean.

I'm so happy I found Airalo! We are in our early 70's, and we flew to Buenos Aires for a cruise to Antarctica. Afterwards we traveled on our own to Iguazu Falls in both Argentina & Brazil, and then on to Rio de Janeiro. I bought a 30 day Argentina Esim and a 7 day Brazil Esim. I had no problem installing and using them on my Samsung S21 phone. Upon installing the Argentina Esim, it was labeled as Chile, but it wored right away in Argentina, so I inquired about it through Airalo customer support online. They were quick to respond that everything was OK. Having mobile data while traveling made it easy to communicate with the drivers and tour guides I had arranged in advance. I spent time studying the Airalo instructions before leaving home, and that really helped. I purchased and installed the Esims using hotel wifi while traveling. I will definitely use this company again!

Used their esim in Japan. Network was patchy. Was either slow or kept dropping out. Beyond this, I was told by their support that imessages would be supported by data - which it was not. Their "support" are scripted & reply the same content even when you follow their instructions. I had support send me the same instructions several times in a row when trying to sort out data issues. It was so bad I recorded myself following the instructions & sent it to them. In the end they "recommended" I use global roaming but warned me that my local phone provider may charge me based on their global roaming service fees. Issues were never resolved & their "customer service" team just told me to pay for global roaming with my local provider. What's the point of paying you guys then??

Used it multiple times before. But I had issues with one of their esims (in Denmark) and the customer service was terrible. They say 24/7 hour service and they answer 24 hours later. If you have a problem with your esim and need help right away, they just don't answer. Bought a sim card at a physical store instead, got great service and no issues. Won't be using again, they lost a repeating customer.

I have used this company 3 times now once in the US, once in Spain and now in general Europe. In a few weeks I will be switching to the Morocco eSim they offer and I have never been disappointed even with pretty good service crossing the Mediterranean on a cruise ship. In fact the service has been so good that my husband who went old school sim used my eSim hotspot to download his magazines because his was too slow and frankly not as good as mine. So take the time to watch the videos because really they are superior and so easy to top up. (Especially when he uses all my data. Lol)

Activated esim for use in Turkey on iPhone 12 pro max . The process was easier than expected with easy to follow steps through the app. I also used a referral code that took $3 off my bill. This was my first time using an esim and it worked perfectly. Spent two weeks in South Africa and it worked fine wherever we went. Set it up before leaving the UK and it connected to the local network a few minutes after landing. Topping up was just a few taps and also worked perfectly. I did spend some time watching the Airalo YouTube videos before hand as it does take a bit of understanding as to how it all works. Perhaps this explains the mixed reviews. Very convenient and very good value. Highly recommend.

It did not work for me in Malaysia. You can tell the company is GARBAGE because they only thank people who gave them 5 stars and ignore all the negative ones lmao

Don't buy for Europe if you have a Google Pixel 6a. It doesn't work at all in France and they know it. Also had very sporadic data in Italy. Occasionally 3g, but is a data only SIM so that's useless. (they apologised and offered me a 25% discount for next time i purchase, like I'm going to do that

Bought a French based E-sim for a trip to France which did not work for 4 - 5 days and cost me a lot of $ in roaming fees with my carrier. Support was sub-standard, no refund offered and only pointless credit offered after hours spent debating the point with support team.

Be very cautious when dealing with this company.

It barely works in South Africa so a waste of money. In 20 days I’ve managed to get it to work a few times only and cuts off after a few minutes . Paid for 30days 5gb and only managed 54mb

I purchased an esim that worked fine but when I tried to top it up, I kept getting an error and despite the transaction never being confirmed, they made 3 charges to my credit card. I contacted them for a refund a month ago and am still waiting for it. I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for eSIMs and stay away from this company. Their customer service is nonexistent.
